Terms for cancelling bookings and services

This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancelling bookings made through Temple Connect. Users can cancel bookings through their dashboard or by contacting our support team. Cancellation charges vary based on the service type and how far in advance the cancellation is made.
Users can cancel Darshan bookings from their dashboard. Cancellation charges: 48+ hours before scheduled time: No charge (full refund). 24-48 hours before: 25% of booking amount charged. Less than 24 hours: 100% of booking amount charged (no refund). Cancellations due to medical emergencies (with valid proof) may be eligible for full refund at Temple Connect's discretion.
Pooja bookings involve advance preparation of materials and priest arrangements. Cancellation charges: 72+ hours before: No charge (full refund). 48-72 hours before: 50% charged. Less than 48 hours: 100% charged (no refund). Once the Pooja has been performed, cancellation is not possible.
e-Prasad orders can be cancelled only if the associated Pooja has not yet been performed. Once the Pooja is completed, the order cannot be cancelled as prasad is prepared and dispatched. Cancellation requests must be made before the scheduled Pooja date.
Hotel cancellation policies vary by property. The specific policy is displayed at the time of booking and in the booking confirmation. General guidelines: 7+ days before check-in: Free cancellation. 3-7 days before: 50% charge. Less than 3 days: 100% charge (no refund). Non-refundable hotel rates cannot be cancelled. Some hotels may allow free cancellation within 24 hours of booking.
Tour packages involve multiple bookings (hotels, transport, guides). Cancellation charges: 15+ days before departure: 10% charged. 7-15 days before: 50% charged. 3-7 days before: 75% charged. Less than 3 days: 100% charged (no refund). Group bookings may have different cancellation terms, communicated at the time of booking.
Donations cannot be cancelled once processed, except in cases of duplicate transactions. Duplicate donation claims must be reported within 48 hours with transaction details. Approved duplicate donations will be refunded in full.
To cancel a booking: (a) Login to your dashboard at https://templeconnect.startupitsolution.in//pages/dashboard.php; (b) Navigate to My Bookings; (c) Find the booking you wish to cancel; (d) Click "Cancel Booking"; (e) Select a reason for cancellation; (f) Confirm the cancellation. You will receive a cancellation confirmation via email and SMS. Refunds (if applicable) will be processed automatically.
Temple Connect reserves the right to cancel bookings in the following circumstances: (a) Force majeure events (natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions); (b) Temple closure or event cancellation; (c) Insufficient bookings for group tours; (d) Technical errors or pricing mistakes. In all such cases, users will receive a full refund or alternative booking options.
If a temple cancels or reschedules an event, Temple Connect will notify users immediately. Users will have the option to: (a) Reschedule the booking for a new date; (b) Receive a full refund; (c) Book a different service of equal value. Temple Connect is not liable for cancellations by temple authorities but will facilitate the resolution process.
If a user fails to appear for a scheduled service (Darshan, Pooja, hotel check-in) without prior cancellation, it will be treated as a no-show. No-shows are not eligible for any refund. The booking will be marked as "Completed" in the system.
Partial cancellations (e.g., reducing the number of people in a group booking) are subject to the same cancellation charges as full cancellations for the reduced portion. The remaining booking will continue as confirmed.
